We Made It!

Praise the Lord we all made it safely to Mexico without any complications!

We arrived in Chihuahua about 11:00 a.m. and made it through customs fairly easily. Michael and Aaron (another missionary) were there at the airport to pick us up and drive us to the guesthouse. Lindy and some other ladies had lunch prepared for us when we arrived and we (or at least I was) were ready to eat! The snacks they give you on the airplane don't really amount to breakfast ;)

After lunch we rested a bit before 2:30 when Lindy took some of the ladies grocery shopping, and Michael and Aaron drove the rest of us out to Michael's airstrip to take a look at some of the projects for this week. When we got back we had free time until supper (Little Caeser's) about 6:30 followed by group Bible time.

Tomorrow morning we will start early with breakfast at 6:30 with the goal of a 7:00 departure. We will start work at the airstrip and hanger with some dirt work on the runway and clearing some brush. After the sun gets higher and the temperature rises we will shift to working on projects in the shade of the hanger.

You can pray for rest for us as it has been a long day and will be an early morning tomorrow. Pray also for strength for the work and for God's work in each of our lives through this time.
