Getting Ready

Well, in less than a week from now, I and a group of others from CrossWay will be roasting in the heat of Chihuahua, Mexico!

Darren, who is heading up this trip, asked me (Trevor) to be in charge of sending updates and pictures back home of what we are doing in Chihuahua.  I will try to post daily updates so you can see what we are doing and know how you can be praying for us.

We will be leaving the airport in Wichita this coming Monday morning at 7:42 for our roughly 1,000 mile journey to Chihuahua, Mexico. After a layover in Dallas we should arrive in Chihuahua about 11:20 that same morning. Michael and Lindy will  pick us up at the airport and take us to the guesthouse where we will be staying at. Beyond this we will see what Michael has planned.

Some of the jobs we will be helping with are:
          - Laying a water line and doing some plumbing at Michael's hanger
          - Clearing the runway and repainting runway markings
          - Other work around the hanger: sheetrock, painting, installing security cameras, clearing brush, etc.
          - A group may be flown out to clear some of the airstrips in the mountains that Michael flies to
          - Doing some repairs/maintenance on Michael and Lindy's house

​We then return on Wednesday, June 19.

You can pray for us as we prepare and as final preparations are made, as well as for health and safety while we are traveling, and that we would be a blessing to Michael and Lindy and their family. 

Now I need to go see if I can fit everything in the suitcase!
