Another Productive Day

This morning we started very early, leaving the guesthouse at 5:15. Michael prefers to fly early in the morning because the cool air is more efficient and stable for flying. When we arrived at the airport we got tools loaded in the airplane and got it pulled outside to prepare for takeoff. John, Thaniel, and I (Trevor) left with Michael in the airplane about 6:15 to drop fuel at another base, and do work on a runway in the mountains. The rest of the team continued work on the projects at Michael's airstrip, mostly plumbing and more dirt work on the runway. Karis and Amanda stayed behind and then took breakfast out to the hanger about 9:00 for those who were working there.

We landed back in Chihuahua right about noon and, after putting the airplane inside, sat down to lunch. After lunch  we worked around the hanger until 3:00 and then came back to the guesthouse.

Once again the ladies had supper ready for us in the evening. After supper each evening Arlen has led us in a devotion time with singing and discussing a passage of Scripture. We talk through the passage and then each share a verse from the passage we read or something from our personal devotions that was meaningful to us.

Tomorrow morning some will head out to the airstrip to clear mesquite trees and another group will go to Michael's house to do some work there.

Here are some pictures from the day:

We had three flights, so we each got a turn to sit up front with Michael.

For me, this is what comes after worship each evening.
Please pray that we would find herbicide for the mesquite trees and a particular fitting that is needed for the water line. None of the stores seem to have either in stock. Thank you all for praying. We serve a powerful God who desires to hear from His children. What a blessing!
